Seward Area Hospice

Hospice provides compassionate care for people who are nearing the end of life. Hospice supports the client and the family with the emotional, psychosocial and spiritual aspects of dying. This approach enhances quality of life and makes the most of a client's remaining time in whatever place they call home. Seward Area Hospice is a licensed volunteer hospice meeting the non-medical needs of clients and their families with trained staff and volunteers.

Honesty, professionalism and confidentiality. We will listen to your story and encourage you to express your needs and what is most important to you and your family during this difficult time.

A Seward Area Hospice staff member will provide an initial visit to assess the needs of the client and the family after receiving a referral from the medical provider, client or family member.  A Plan of Care will then be developed and signed by the client, Nurse Educator and the client’s Medical Provider. We will honor your choices and walk through this journey with you.
