FLIGHT OPERATIONS

Interfacility Patient Transfers

LifeMed Alaska is Alaska’s premier medevac transportation provider. Alaska’s geography requires, in many instances, some of the longest transport distances in the United States.

On Scene Responses

LifeMed’s helicopters respond directly to the scene of an accident. These responses provide a high level of skill to patients with multiple injuries at the accident scene and quickly transport to a fully-equipped trauma facility – minimizing the time from injury to definitive care decreases mortality and morbidity.

Domestic and International Range

LifeMed Alaska’s fleet of aircraft has been purposefully chosen to provide short, medium and long range capabilities. We cover all areas of Alaska and transport to the lower 48 when medically necessary

Multiple Patient Transport Capabilities

With seven strategic base locations across the state, LifeMed Alaska can respond to various incidents that involve multiple patients, at one time.
