Creative Grieving-A new program in partnership with Chugachmiut

Creative Grieving. Make art with our friends from Chugachmiut while we process and support each other through our individual and collective grief journeys. Sharing our grief journeys with others can help individuals through an often sad, isolating process, however grief can be complicated and feel too overwhelming or heavy to bring up in conversation or into a group setting. We crave a special place to share about our loved ones but often lack a welcoming group environment or become worried about being the downer of the friend group.

At our new Creative Grieving Program, we are focusing on our creative process while sharing our stories and grief journeys with others in a guided conversation by Sunny and Robert from Chugachmiut.

Join us on Friday, July 24th at 1:15pm to create. share and witness with other seniors processing grief in this new program at the Seward Senior Center.
