Akutaq Ice Cream Social

Flyer for Ice Cream & Akutaq Social at Branson Pavilion on July 30th. Demonstration at 2pm, tasting at 2:30pm. An image of pink ice cream with berries sits in the center of the flyer with an excerpt from the article about Akutaq linked above written below the image. The Qutekcak Native Tribe and Seward Senior Center logos are to the left of the flyer. The background features pink swirly ice cream.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

The Branson Pavilion is going to be alive with Seniors learning how to make Akutaq with demonstrations by the Qutekcak Native Tribe tomorrow at 2pm with tasting to follow at 2:30pm. Come by to taste this treat traditionally made with Fish, Crisco/lard, Vegetable oil, Sugar, and Berries. It has been adapted to accommodate those of us with less adventurous taste buds.
